Planks flooring DacWood collection use only birch plywood  fabricated with phenol resin which meets the following  standards: En 314/ 3 class &BS 68705 Part 3 /type BFU-100. We do not use Poplar or other on uncommon woods species commonly used by  many other manufactures.The popular variants are half the cost, but unfortunately also half as stable and prone to plywood delimitation failures. 

Planks Flooring DacWood collection  only uses 4-6mm superior  white oak slice cut top veneers and  ensures all hardwoods are properly kilt dried at 6-7% Commonly other manufactures use rotary cut to save wood cost and producing engineer floors with a  1-1.8mm top veneers. Over time a super thin veneer can delaminate or cracking during climate season changes. 

All Planks flooring use UV oil finishes  provided by European company Ciranova that has been providing stains since 1929. All our  finishes  have  Knots fill to same colour as wood colour. This  help the knots to blend in naturally in the  floor. 

Wood floors is a product of nature and has natural expansion and shrinking characteristic inherited in its DNA.   Before installation you should  always store your flooring in your house 24hrs to climinate. Home humidity should  be around  40-50% depending  on your climate conditions.   Your sub floor should be levelled and any planks that is beyond  5 inches wide should be nailed and full spread glue down.  A professional  installer will understand manufacturing guide lines of proper install. 

Wood is beautiful product of nature and every piece has it unique grain of art and knots that brings the outside nature into the home. Before purchasing  always ask your retailer what grade of  flooring your are looking for.  Natural grade is the true nature of the tree inner structure. If you are looking for more clean look, then  you need will  to invest more money to purchase higher grade wood. But one thing to remember.... once you start placing your furniture in the room the knots seem to naturally blend in, adding warmth to your  home.
